Job Summary:
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Transactions Management:
- Record and process all financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with established financial policies and procedures.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Generate reports on financial status, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Account Reconciliation:
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain accurate records.
- Investigate and resolve any accounting discrepancies or irregularities.
Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Vendor and Customer Management:
- Manage relationships with vendors and customers to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Handle queries and resolve issues related to invoices and payments.
Tax and Regulatory Filings:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory documents.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Support and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Assist in special projects and initiatives as required.
ualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
